Safety and controls
Allowlisted assets
Rooms cannot supply arbitrary reward-token addresses. Each enabled Stock Token is paired with a specific price feed.
Immediate activation
The live market has zero activation delay. Approved Stock Tokens can be enabled immediately, while unavailable assets stay darkened and unselectable.
Oracle checks
Non-positive, incomplete, future-dated or stale price data causes conversion to revert.
Slippage checks
Oracle value sets a minimum received amount; the deployed V2 limit is currently 3%.
Solvency accounting
Claim liabilities are tracked per Stock Token. Only inventory above total liabilities can be withdrawn as excess.
Transaction guards
State-changing trade and claim paths are reentrancy-protected and verify actual token balance changes.

Frequently asked questions
Does a creator have to fund the stock-reward pool?
No. The creator funds their initial Keys. The stock reward itself is purchased from the stock-reward fee on each eligible Key trade.
Does the creator automatically earn every time?
No. The creator earns stock rewards only in proportion to Keys they retain, under the same accounting rules as other holders.
Can the room change its reward stock later?
No. The chosen Stock Token is permanent for that room, preventing reward terms from changing after holders join.
Why is HOOD darkened?
HOOD is the intended default, but the canonical Robinhood Chain Stock Token registry and supported price-feed set do not yet provide the complete infrastructure required by this market. It remains visible but unavailable.
Do I earn from the same trade where I buy a Key?
No. A buy allocates that trade’s stock to the existing Key supply before the new Keys mint. Your Keys become eligible for later trades.
What happens if the stock swap fails?
The entire Key trade reverts. Principal and fees do not partially settle.
Do I need to bring USDG to create a room?
The app uses any USDG already in your wallet. When the balance is short, it quotes the canonical WETH/USDG pool and asks your wallet to swap the required ETH before approving the creator commitment.
Is preview mode using real money?
No. Preview rooms are local/test product records. The create flow labels preview mode and does not request ETH or USDG.
No part of this asks for a seed phrase.
Wallet connection asks for your public address and a network switch. Everything that moves value asks for a signature you can read first.
