Rooms, keys and stock rewards, explained.
Pons frens is a social market on Robinhood Chain. Creators launch rooms with bonding-curve access Keys, retain Keys alongside their community, and choose one Stock Token that eligible Key trades purchase for holders.
What Pons frens is
A creator room is part community space and part transparent market. Its Room Keys control participation, its price follows a published curve, and its chosen stock reward gives holders a shared economic outcome tied to real room activity.
Three assets, three different jobs.
Room Keys are room-specific access and reward positions. Stock Tokens are the assets earned from eligible Key trades. $FRENS is the Pons frens ecosystem token. They are not interchangeable.

Rooms
A Room is a creator-owned clubhouse with a name, media, access policy, social profile, chat, activity feed, modules and an optional shared world. Its market settings are attached to one onchain room identifier.

Permanent market choices
Easy ETH funding
New rooms start at a 1 USDG base price, a 0.10 USDG step and one creator Key. When the connected wallet is short of USDG, the app quotes the canonical WETH/USDG pool and swaps enough ETH to cover the difference with a 2% input buffer and an exact USDG minimum. Any extra USDG stays in the creator’s wallet. The wallet confirms the swap, USDG approval and room creation as separate transactions.
Public rooms also have an open wall composer. A fren can type directly on the room page, then approve a fresh gasless wallet signature when publishing. The server verifies the signer, room, post contents, timestamp and one-time nonce before the post reaches the wall.
In preview mode market settings are saved as test room data only. Preview rooms do not create Keys, charge USDG or generate stock rewards.
Voice chat in 3D rooms
Every shared 3D room has live spatial voice. Open the room’s World tab and choose Join voice. You enter muted, then choose Unmute when you want to speak.

Access and privacy
Voices follow avatar positions inside the world, so nearby frens sound closer and direction changes as you move. Voice runs through the Pons frens server and supports up to 25 connected participants in one room.
How Room Keys work
Each Room has its own ERC-1155 Key ID. Keys can gate room participation and determine the holder’s share of future Stock Token rewards.
Total principal for n Keys
Σ [base price + price step × supply index]
The curve is linear. The next Key gets more expensive as supply grows, and selling moves supply back down the same curve.
| Action | USDG movement | Reward eligibility |
|---|---|---|
| Buy | Principal + platform fee + stock fee | The buyer’s new Keys earn from later eligible trades. |
| Sell | Principal − platform fee − stock fee | Sold Keys are removed before that trade’s reward is allocated. |
| Transfer | No curve trade | Accrued rewards are preserved before balances move. |
Current V2 fee configuration
5% platform fee and 5% stock-reward fee are calculated from trade principal. A buy adds both fees; a sell deducts both. Configuration can be updated by contract governance, so the wallet quote is the source of truth before signing.
Creator alignment
Creators do not receive a special permanent stock-reward cut. They must acquire their initial Keys with USDG at room creation and keep those Keys to participate in the same reward accounting as other holders.
Launch
The creator deposits the bonding-curve principal for their initial Keys.
Retain
Keeping Keys lets the creator accrue rewards from future eligible trades.
Sell
Selling reduces the creator’s balance and therefore their share of later rewards.
This is the “skin in the game” mechanism: creator reward participation follows Key ownership, not profile status.
How stock rewards are funded
There is no reward pool that creators need to pre-fund. The stock portion comes from the stock-reward fee charged on each eligible Room Key buy or sell.
A Key trade is quoted in USDG.
The contract separates curve principal, platform fee and stock-reward fee.
The stock fee is swapped atomically.
The managed converter trades USDG for the room’s permanent Stock Token using a verified Uniswap V3 route.
The contract verifies the result.
A Chainlink price feed establishes the minimum acceptable output. The current maximum conversion slippage is 3%.
Stock is allocated per eligible Key.
On buys, the existing supply is eligible before the buyer’s new Keys mint. On sells, the remaining supply is eligible after sold Keys burn.
Each holder claims separately.
Rewards accrue per room and are transferred to the holder’s wallet only when they call claim.
Atomic means all or nothing.
If the route, oracle, token transfer or minimum output check fails, the entire Key trade reverts. A trade cannot succeed while silently skipping its required stock conversion.
The asset list lives on its own page.
Every allowlisted stock token, which are live and which are waiting on a price feed, with the token and feed addresses beside each one.
